I first became a fan of photographer Jay Van Dam's work through his creative Revelation series. Flipping through his website, I caught myself laughing out loud at his Myself and I set. Did Van Dam want us to imagine ourselves with a twin? Or was there something much deeper? The relationship suddenly became clear when Van Dam explained it me in his own words...
"The duality within the pictures of Myself and I are intended to have a humorous connotation yet they hint at past and early Freudian developmental stages of youth."
