Artist Uses Girlfriend’s Back as a Canvas for Illusive 3D Artwork

20-year-old artist Natasha Farnsworth is well versed in the complex world of three-dimensional art. With acrylic paint, palette, and paintbrush in hand, the creative uses her girlfriend's back as a canvas to create optical illusions that make her Instagram followers do a double take with each new posting. Time and time again, Farnsworth manages to defy her viewers' expectations, as she transforms her workspace into anything from a cavernous galaxy or fracture in the earth to a refreshing waterfall. One of her latest works was inspired by the colorful and seemingly layered portals of German street artist 1010, who loved her recreation and appreciatively reposted her photo for his own followers to admire.

To see what Farnsworth creates next, you can follow her on Instagram. To buy one of her equally impressive prints, check out her Etsy shop.
