Paris mayoral candidate Nathalie Koziuscot-Morizet has proposed a transformative design plan for the city's abandoned Métro stations that would turn the desolate underground locations into attractive venues. The intention is to reclaim the Parisian stations for use by its citizens and tourists. It would provide multiple diverse spaces for all to enjoy in a unique locale.
From a restaurant and an art gallery to a theater and a nightclub, Koziuscot-Morizet's proposal hopes to repurpose the space into a productive environment that serves the city and its people. There's even a conceptual rendering of an indoor community pool that runs the length of a station. Currently working on the designs and logistics with architects Manal Rachdi and Nicolas Laisné, the potential mayor is only in the formative stages of the ambitious architectural project.
