My Modern Metropolis

Stockholm-based Henrik Isaksson Garnell is more than just a photographer. The 23-year-old is a talented inventor, sculptor, and art visionary. Instead of taking photographs of ordinary items found in nature, he distorts them completely and creates entirely new life forms.

Garnell's work belongs in terrifying sci-fi movies. According to the the artist, he stages daydreams and nightmares, and moves between surrealism and concretism to reach his theme: “Nature meets technology.”
