Countries Across Europe Are Considering Social Media Bans for Kids Under 16 Years Old

A push for a teenagerless internet is gaining ground in Europe. It wouldn’t exactly be teenagerless, but if regulators in countries such as Spain and the Czech Republic are successful, young people under 16 years old would be banned from social media apps, including Instagram and Snapchat. On February 3, 2026, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez announced his country’s plans to implement an under-16 ban from social media.

South Korean School Creates 3D-Printed Yearbooks for Visually Impaired Students

Graduates at Daegu Kwangmyeong School in South Korea recently received yearbooks unlike any others. Instead of traditional photographs, these students, who are visually impaired, were given 3D-printed yearbooks that allow them to experience their school memories through touch. Founded in 1946, Daegu Kwangmyeong School serves students with visual impairments from kindergarten through high school. It remains the only K-12 educational institution in the Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province region dedicated exclusively to visually impaired students.
