Nice little French appetizer: Prunes and Bacon


For those of you who like to experiment new cuisines and surpise friends at dinners, here is a easy appetizer to prepare:
Roll a prune in a bacon slice. Poke a tooth pick through it to keep it rolled.
Put the whole thing in the oven at 400°F. Wait till the bacon gets brown, get out of the oven.
Serve warm with red wine.

mmmm...that sounds like an odd combination of sweet and salty! Gotta give it a try, thanks for the suggestion!
