A line of kitchen appliances designed by Karim Rashid for Slovenian appliance manufacturer Gorenje are on display at the IFA show in Berlin. They incorporate a band of color produced by LEDs that can be changed to suit the decor as shown below.
Rashid also designed a cooktop that looks like an alien craft landing map.
Love him or not, Rashid's appliances are not your grandmother's boring beige boxes.
