You don't have to go very far to find creativity these days. In fact, all you have to do is look at a Tumblr blog like Gnome Life to see an unhappy
hipster gnome sharing his story with us. This 108 year old fella takes us into New York as he searches for some meaning in his life.
As he explains, "Looking up and into the real world, a gnome has to hesitate. I was always told to distrust those people, and hid away from them. I am going against my tradition, against my gnome heritage in order to earn a more meaningful existence or at least the awareness of one. NYC :: where gnome dreams are born."

The photos are as witty and interesting as his passages. This one is my favorite:
"A Gnew York Gnome avoids mirrors, empty storefront windows, grease streaked puddles, and passing black cabs. A reflective face brings the reminder of separation, the state of isolation. I am a gnome, distinctly different from those now around me. Can you judge based upon the journeys that join us, or will you only see the choiceless differences that divide us: race, sex, age, gnome."
