
Steve Byland caught these awesome photos of tree swallows during feeding time. As he states, "They (the parents) go through some really serious pain feeding these babies. The above shot is not a “fly by.” They ram those bugs home at top speed. Generally, they close their eyes at about this point. Why? I can’t tell you how many shots I got today that show the parent taking a beak right in the eye."
