Photorealistic Oil Paintings of Fruit

Fruit so realistic it looks good enough to eat! Through his photorealistic oil paintings of fruit, Ohio-based artist Dennis Wojtkiewicz [voyt-KEV-itch] proves that minute details are no obstacle for him! In his series, he paints all kinds of fruits including strawberries, watermelons, apples, oranges, limes, and kiwis. It's utterly amazing how every hair, every seed and every vein of the fruits are completely visible. In many of his works, it seems as though a light is shining from the back, making such features as the veins of the fruit more visible. If you are interested in seeing more pieces by Dennis Wojtkiewicz, make sure to check out his website for photorealistic oil paintings of flowers, as well.

I can't get enough of those citrus fruits. This is probably the only time I like grapefruits!
