Who knew you could create something so detailed out of a simple ping pong ball? Japanese artist "tatumaru5963" took an ordinary ping pong ball and transformed it into an incredible replica of the Death Star (Mark II) from Return of the Jedi. According to his website, he says: ”It was done by repeatedly cutting the ping-pong ball. To reproduce the internal structure, I finely cut plastic board.” I like how he photographed it next to a cigarette pack, so we could get a sense of its dimensions.
