Pixar’s Up House Created in LEGOs

You could say that we're fanatics when it comes to Pixar's movie Up. On My Modern Met, we've featured everything from an adorable mini-me costume of Carl Fredricksen to an actual, real-life Up-inspired floating house. (On a personal note, my son's first birthday was Up-themed and, for our little guy, we even had made a custom cake).

It should come as no surprise then, that today we would post on this new Up house created with just LEGOs by Melanie F. (house), CleverLittleMinx (fountain/base) and ROOK (balloons). Together, the three made an awesome display for a community window at their local LEGO store. As Melanie explains, “This build took me about three months of planning and two days of building. I'm happy that I forced myself to do this display, going out of my comfort zone and using lime green and orange which I never build with.”

I believe ROOK used minifig heads for the balloons. Clever!
