Provocative Ads: Stories with the Full Background (3 pieces)

When watching the news, you want an unbiased source that will tell both sides of the story. Ad agency DDB&CO recently started this new campaign for CNN in Turkey. The tagline: “Stories with the Full Background.”

To illustrate CNN's objective reporting, the three posters pair together the American economy & Yassir Arafat, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad & Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, and the war in Iraq & the pursuit of oil.

Excellent satire.

Btw, that's not Yassir Arafat in the first pic. It's King Fahd of Saudi Arabia (died 2005) - possibly a comment on George Bush's 'special relationship' with the House of Saud.
