Punched Out Wedding Invitations

You've just got to appreciate not only the creativity, but the time and patience it took for couple Christine and Ian to create their one-of-a-kind wedding invitations. Though everything from the RSVP card and the Field Guide to the buttons, string, stamps and envelopes were thoroughly thought out, it's the main invitation that really caught our attention.

“Ian designed the main invitation card beautifully and spent hours and hours at TechShop on the laser cutter,” says Christine. “It took twenty minutes for every four cards. The kraft backings were also laser cut. Using an Xacto knife, the trees were punched out carefully and bent forward to create the 3D effect. The front cards were then sewn to the kraft backings with a sewing machine.”

Love how the little trees stand up!
