Vincent Fournier shows us our exciting, future life with robots in his new series, The Man Machine. Paying tribute to the way science and technology are changing our lives, his photographs tell intriguing and foreshadowing stories. They show how our current developments in robotics will shape our future, making us believe that we'll be sharing this earth with highly sophisticated robots in our not-so-distant future.

These photos were taken in Barcelona, The Netherlands, and Brussels as well as in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Tochigi, Japan.

Fournier was born in Ouagadougou, Africa, grew up in France and is now based in Brussels. He holds a diploma of Visual Arts, a Master of Sociology and a Diploma of l'Ecole Nationale de la Photographie, Arles.
