If you're like me, you believe that a secret world exists. It's a wonderfully whimsical place where mysterious shadows come alive, where monsters invade our memories, and where miniature people can be seen hard at work and at play.

Los Angeles-based graphic designer Darren Pearson is one of the few who can actually see this place. His photos are filled with animals and people that only show up under just the right conditions and when kindly asked to do so.
