teamLab’s First Permanent Home in the U.S. Is Coming to Southern California

The international art collective teamLab is finding its first permanent home in the United States. teamLab Museum Anaheim (tentative name) has recently been announced as part of OCVIBE, a 100-acre sports, entertainment, and arts district currently under construction in Southern California. Here, art is not an afterthought but part of the experience; it will be woven into the architecture and landscape, with exploration made easy through outdoor walkability.

Glass Pavilion in Bangkok Marries Sleek Minimalism With Thai Architectural History

Located on a rooftop garden near the highest pagoda in Thailand sits the Glass Pavilion. The stair-stepped triangular structure faces Wat Dhammamongkol Thawonbun Nantawihan, a 14-story pagoda. Designed as a tranquil meditation space inspired by traditional Thai architecture, it brings serenity to Bangkok’s True Digital Park. Architects M Space designed the Glass Pavilion, which was completed in the summer of 2024.

Architect Tadao Ando Designed a Floating Library to Bring 2,000 Books to Children Across Japan’s Islands

A floating library is bringing books directly to children across the islands of Japan’s Kagawa Prefecture. The Hon no Mori-go began operating on April 24, 2025, traveling through the Seto Inland Sea with about 2,000 books and creating opportunities for children to read, learn, and explore their island communities. Architect Tadao Ando proposed the project to Kagawa in 2023 and later donated the vessel through his architectural firm.
