Somewhere in My Surreal Dreams, Part 2

Valencia, Spain-based photographer Luis Beltran just sent us word that he's just launched a new website that's chock full of his most beautiful work. Months ago, we posted on Beltran's storytelling photo manipulations in a post titled Somewhere in My Surreal Dreams. As the stunning follow-up, please enjoy this collection which includes some new and never-before-seen pieces. (In fact, the first photo in this post was just finished just last weekend.)

"I love every work that produces some type of emotion," Beltran says when asked what he most enjoyed about putting these "dreams" together.

"I like to talk about the loneliness and mystery that it is intrinsic to all our lives. My work usually takes as a starting point dreams and leads us through scenes along the thin line between reality and imagination. My work is dedicated to those who daydream, who believe that without illusion there is no hope; who live in fantasy worlds and do not want to wake up."

The very first picture is my favorite. The color of the bird stands out really well against the white snow.

I really enjoy this kind of work. It's incredibly creative, it's the way my minds eye sees and now ti's the way my Parkinson's eye sees. BRAVO
