Story Behind Those Four Sisters

This past weekend, I was walking through the San Diego's Museum of Photographic Arts when I suddenly came upon this wall of photos. You may remember seeing these in one of our older posts called Capturing 30 Years of Age.

At the time, we couldn't find much about the photographer or story behind it. We knew this series was about four sisters but what else?
