It's hard to imagine what drove Kentucky-based artist Scott Beseler to attach mannequin arms to the street's intimate objects. In a strange yet intriguing way, he brings telephones booths, mailboxes, fire hydrants, and parking meters to life. What could Beseler be saying about these everyday objects? Do we take them for granted? Are they more of an extension of us than we might acknowledge?
