What is it about peeking into an artist's sketchbook that's so interesting? Is it that we get to see a whole range of ideas, creativity flowing in an unfiltered way? Or is it that we're grateful that an artist has been vulnerable enough to let us see their unfinished work? The art that may never make into a showroom or be displayed on a wall yet to the artist holds special meaning?
Whatever the case, we're absolutely delighted that one of our very favorite artists, Stella Im Hultberg, has given us a rare look into hers. The Brooklyn-based artist uses her tools - ballpoint, ink, pencil, paint pens, markers, acrylic - to turn blank, white pages into stunning pieces of art.
Absolutely inspring...to say the least.
