The Fantasies of Chinese Cabbage (13 pieces)

Selected by photographer Martin Parr as his "wild card," Ju Duoqi will be presenting this fascinating and slightly odd series of works at the 4th Brighton Photo Biennial this year, which will be curated by Parr.

Duoqi is highly fascinated with vegetables and their relationship to life. For this series, you'll find art inspired by famous women like Lady Gaga and Marilyn Monroe as well as Manga and Buddha-inspired girls.

Having recently exhibited around China and Korea since 2007, she's now started showing her works in Europe at the Galerie Paris-Beijing and at the Grand Palais in France.

Outside of this series, make sure to check out "The Vegetable Museum" where Duoqi recreated famous paintings using vegetables.
