As we slip further and further into the digital age one thing that is being lost is the look of the bands you love. Albums from Pink Floyd to Britney Spears, from Johnny Cash to Slayer all had a style and feel that went along with the music. When I was a kid I would put on a CD and pull out the liner notes and read all the lyrics and check out the 'thanks' list to discover what other bands they were into. Thankfully there are people like Paper + Plastick who share my old man views on music's sound and visual style. They cover everything including album art, t-shirts, posters and colored vinyl. Because really how can you give a crap about album art when it's the size of your fingernail in your ipod?
