Yesterday will surely be one of the most historic days that we will ever experience in our lives. January 20th, 2009, Barack H. Obama was sworn in as the 44th President of the United States of America - the first African-American ever to hold the office of U.S. Commander-in-Chief. It's really interesting to see how different people from all over the globe reacted on this very special day. What a great recap. I'm with Arlene...tears!! It truly was an amazing moment. I can't wait for my kids to ask me, "do you remember what you were doing when President Obama was sworn in?"

I can say I watched it on the television in a room full of total strangers. People of different ethnicity, age and even political views. Everyone was silent, waiting in anticipation. It was really a historic and awesome morning.

Thanks Eugene for showing us what people were doing around the world.
