Unique LA is back! Just what is Unique LA? It's the largest independent design show on the West Coast where you can shop directly from over 300 designers and artists. Support the local design community and check out this spectacular event! It's this Saturday and Sunday, December 5th and 6th, in Los Angeles.
You'll find everything from clothing, accessories, stationery, jewelry, and housewares to artwork, ceramics, books, photography, screen prints and more. Admission is just $10.
are some pictures that one of our editors took at the scene, last year.
Why should you go?
+ Shepard Fairey's Studio No.1 has partnered with UNIQUE LA (omg)! Every attendee will get a free cotton tote bag featuring artwork exclusive to UNIQUE LA. That makes it a collectible. Soooo cool...
+ With over 300 designers/artists selling their goods, Unique LA is now the largest independent design & gift show in the country! That's right NYC, SF and Chicago, LA is taking over! ;)
+ Their new GREEN ROOM features over 50 eco designers/sellers, and will have a cool eco lounge run by YourDailyThread.com with free magazines, free drinks (thanks to Honest Tea), free gift wrapping services (thanks to the folks at the LA Times), workshops, and loads more!
+ New... Free DIY WORKSHOPS! Let their instructors (like the renowned Stefan G Bucher of www.dailymonster.com
) show you how to make a robot ornament, wallets/bags, journals, and monsters all weekend long.
+ Get your chance to eat from the amazing Tiara Cafe, Gram & Papa's, and Platine Cookies, who will all be serving up meals and treats at their pop-up locations within the show!
+ As usual, get snapped by the amazing Oh Snap Studios! They're building a top-secret, super-cool set for you to strike-a-pose in... Here are pics from the Spring Show:
