Yarn Credit Cards Represent Unraveling Global Economy

Artist Dimitri Tsykalov created these knitted credit cards from yarn, which were displayed in a show called "Money" at Galerie Rabouan Moussion. The cards are unraveling or unfinished, illustrating the instability of the economy. Tsykalov takes a global approach to the statement by using credit cards from around the world. The pieces also have intricate details so they are easily recognizable as the cards they are meant to be.
