Upcycled Bears Created With Old Fur Coats


A couple of masked German artists, who refer to themselves as Neozoon, upcycle old animal fur coats into urban street art. According to Wiki, "upcycling involves processing used materials into new products, or the re-use of a product with crippled functionality for alternative purposes, to prevent waste of potentially useful materials."

In Greek, neozoon translates to "new" and "animal". The artists say that animals are introduced by humans into foreign habitats. By doing so, humans strip away the livelihood of animals, taking them away from their natural habitats and confining them in places like the city zoo. Check out the video below for more info.
