My Modern Metropolis

Back before corporations took over everything America had a certain regional charm to it. In those days instead of corporate name recognition you might pick which motel/hotel to stay at based on a kick ass neon sign. Though many of these motels have been torn down and replaced by Motel 6 or Ramada we still have this Flickr page to admire.
