Vogue Turns the '50s Upside Down (11 photos)

Brazilian bombshells Alessandra Ambrosio and Ana Beatriz Barros team up once again for a beautiful editorial, this time in Vogue Nippon's October 2010 issue. Shot by photographer Solve Sundsbo, the models are seem lying upside down in their retro-inspired silk and satin clothes by high end designers such as Prada, Marc Jacobs and Ralph Lauren. Seems as though the '50s trend is staying for a while, doesn't it? (You'll hear no complaining from me...)

  • Um... I call Shenanigans! It could be just the perspective but I think someones been busy playing in photoshop. Especially the first one, it looks like they elongated her torso or stitched on the legs from another photo. I swear they're not proportionate to their bodies. They just look weird. Nice idea but execution fail.
  • Viewing it upside down is making my head dizzy. But I do love the dresses! :D
