Born in Hendek, Turkey, Serkan Emiroglu is a photographer who describes his work as "intimate, introspective and quietly beautiful." He seems to encapsulate somber moods, showing us a vulnerability that's not often seen in fashion photography.

In 2007, Emiroglu was chosen as one of PDN's Top 30 New and Emerging Photographers to Watch. Indeed, looking through his work, you can understand why. In an effortless and uncontrived way, Emiroglu's photos are unbelievably captivating.

"The more limitations you have, the most resourceful and creative you become...A good photograph is its own good publicity. It goes everywhere, it publishes itself forever."
