Obscure Object? In varying degreee. In no particular order. Luis Bunuel, Carole Bouquet, Camera Obscura, the feeling that for many artists/filmmakers there is a passionate need to create, but often we don't know why. In both the middle of a piece or in the midst of a career, he object of one efforts can seem obscure... Here's one of my "Obscure Object" films with a French dancer from Paris, Juliette Morel:
There are about three different films being shot in my neighborhood right now, so yes, I guess I'm feeling a bit "typical". Lots of cameras, cranes and grumpy hipsters.
One of the many pleasures of NYC is being able be a part of an art/media community that's so big, you can immerse yourself in quite a rarefied niche. I'm posting my activities to my blog:
