Making of Lexus "Music Track" TVC

Here's 1 of two new spots that I've been involved w/this summer. This one for the 2011 IS sedan. In a category filled with cars that claim all-out power and speed, we chose a precision story to demonstrate our point-of-view on performance. We found an interesting way to talk about a fast car using music. Yes, music w/cars has been done before, but we felt it was more than appropriate for our expression of precision performance. Here's some behind-the-scenes footage that takes you into the science and choreography of this spot. We actually worked with a math nerd from LMU to help us set the drum triggers. Hope you like.
