Vegetables Turned Into Creatures

BBDO Moscow created these interesting advertisements for Greenpeace to educate consumers about genetically modified foods. They made creatures out of vegetables to emphasize the theme of their campaign “Do you know what you eat?”

The small text of the ad reads, “The DNA of genetically modified plants may contain the genes of insects, animals or even viruses. These products may potentially cause harm to your health. Look for GMD free sign on the package.”

The fantastic manipulation of these foods make them look strikingly similar to the original creatures. You can just imagine the vegetables crawling away off the table. The visual impact of these images has a much stronger effect in an advertisement than a block of text trying to communicate a similar message would.
