Stunning Figurative Watercolor Paintings

Blurring the lines between figurative and abstract paintings, artist Silvia Pelissero concocts these stunning watercolor illustrations. The Italy-based artist, also known as agnes-cecile, drips and splatters multihued pigments with such astounding precision that it results in breathtakingly vivid imagery. This is an artist that knows how to use a paintbrush!

Each painting is more stunning than the next, it's hard to pick a favorite. There is a reclusive beauty about the artist's collective series. Looking through Pelissero's portfolio, I felt the struggling, lost sentiments of Blade Runner merge with the visual pop of Katy Perry. It's really fascinating the way the two vastly different worlds seem to collide in unison. I highly recommend looking through all of her works on deviantART. In addition, her YouTube channel offers a number of time-lapsed videos of the artist painting selected works.
