Though the crisis in the Gulf is no laughing matter, you've got to give it to the cartoonists who can take such a serious situation and turn it into thought-provoking art. According to new government estimates found last week, as much as 60,000 barrels (2.5 million gallons) of oil may be gushing into the Gulf every day. With BP's CEO Tony Hayward committing, in White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel's words, a series of “P.R. gaffes and mistakes” and with everyone looking to the US government to clean up this horrific mess, there is no shortage of material for these modern day artists.
