A Young Photographer’s Illusions

Stephen Beadles is a youthful 19-year-old photographer who hails from Milledgeville, Georgia. Don't let his tender age deter you from acknowledging his wide range of work. Beadles produces interesting images using a variety of photographic techniques. He takes long exposure photographs, dabbling on the experimental side of the art, as well as beautiful portraits.

Some of the most intriguing work in Beadles' catalogue are his gravity-defying illusions. Many of his images capture a sense of movement. There is life and a dash of whimsy in each photograph. With his photographer's eye, Beadles engages the viewer using unconventional methods like scratching into a photo with a knife and then scanning the image. He's not only a talented photographer but also a good model, being that he appears in many of his own photographs. I look forward to seeing where Beadles takes us next!
