Photographer and Artist Collaborate to Create Spellbinding Floral Collages

For Yen Magazine, photographer Rebekah Campbell teamed up with artist Ben Giles to create a beautiful set of collages that overlaid Ben's color-bursting flowers over Rebekah's stellar photography. This isn't the first time Rebekah has collaborated on a project with an artist but she calls it her favorite so far. Redheaded model Lauren Isabeau was the muse in the photos which featured her in a variety of sweet and seductive poses. While in one photo, the model's outstretched arms are covered with a waterfall of daises, in another, a flock of birds come to rest serenely on her arm. The collaboration couldn't be any more perfect for Yen's Creative Issue.

You could say that the two might not have ever found each other if it weren't for social networks. Rebekah and Ben discovered each others work through Flickr and then started having conversations on Facebook. When we asked Rebekah what she likes most about Ben's collages she said, “Ben's work is fantastically intricate and colorful, the way that he uses paper and the likes is amazing. I love what his collages add to the photographs, as in they complete the sentence in a way.”
