Cute Chipmunks Playfully Interact with "Star Wars" Toys

LEGO builder and artist Chris McVeigh created a whimsical series that pairs adorable chipmunks with tiny toys from the Star Wars universe. Called Chipmunk Adventures, the photographs show these plastic action figures interacting with the small creatures in fun and playful ways. Darth Vader and the Stormtroopers take joyrides on their backs, while an Ewok is considerably less friendly and points a spear at one critter, taking it by surprise. But in a cute gesture of good faith, Chewbacca offers a rodent an almond, which it happily accepts.

McVeigh writes that the chipmunks seen in this series all live in his parent's backyard, and with a few simple techniques, he was able to forge a friendship with them. Certain chipmunks would even come to the lawn when he whistled! They also trusted him enough to pose for these amusing photos, and they were so tame that all of these shots are real. McVeigh didn't have to compile multiple takes in order to produce these fantastic scenes.
