Cool or Fool? Tracy Feith for Target

Tracy Feith makes a new, cheaper line for Target that's due out on May 17th. The collection includes bright spring/summer clothes that are vintage-inspired. Ranging in price from $14.99 to $44.99, it's affordable chic! A cropped leather motorcycle jacket lined in a signature Tracy Feith print will be $139.99, the highest-priced item in the line. I'm digging the sweet little details - the pops of color, the ruffled trimming, the retro vintage modern flowers. If you can't tell already Feith is a surfer turned designer who leans towards the hippie chick movement and who's clothes epitomize the surfer lifestyle.

Our first lady even wore one of his (more expensive) dresses at a prayer service the day after the inauguration!

Here's the man himself.

Feith's collection is part of Target's GO International program, which spotlights up-and-comers. Expect about 60 pieces in 15 of the original prints Feith is known for. What do you think? Are Tracy Feith's clothes too cool or if you sport them will you be looking like a fool? Source: FabSugar

  • Target, or Targei (we pronounce it as though it is an exotic design botique with a silent T ) as my girlfriend and I like to call is, has an amazing team of people finding the products that they sell.

I think that some of these look goofy, but some of them are very attractive.
  • @Paulette - I like how you pointed out Feith's outfit. It is causal cool. (That wispy beard is weirding me out though. ) :)
@Kristin - Yes, those bathing suits are only acceptable for girls under 5. I agree!
  • I agree with Kristin about the cropped jacket, but what I'm really loving is Mr. Feith himself rocking the beachy tresses-velvet jacket-flip flops look. it's kinda Matthew McConaughey, kinda Bill & Ted . . .
  • I like the printed cropped jacket and the cute dresses.. must remember to check this out..
The bathing suits were kind of bleh, though. I would expect more from a former surfer. Then again, I just don't like ruffles on bathing suits in general.. makes me feel like I'm wearing my minnie mouse one piece from when I was 5 years old..
