Unbelievable Wedding Sky Composed of Thousands of Light Sticks, Swarovski Crystals and Paper Cranes

With its own name, let alone one like Lucid Dream, you can be sure that this wedding reception would be nothing short of fantastic. Serving both as a bride and an artist, Sheika Lateefa worked with company Designlab Events in coming up with this spectacular cloud installation for her wedding. In short, through her confidence, support and collaborative spirit, she gave the company creative license to come up with something out-of-this-world.

Did DesignLab deliver! 15,000 light sticks, 65,000 Swarovski crystals, 4,000 paper cranes swirled overhead in a surreal work similar to the bride's own taste. Installation artists Andy Cao and Xavier Perrot's Swarovski Crystals cloud, which we've featured right here, was the inspiration behind the gorgeous, swirling space.

A mixture of mesh and Swarovski crystals creates that surreal-looking sky. Beautifully outlining the clouds, light sticks fall down as paper cranes flutter throughout. The select purple lighting only serves to enhance the scene.

You can see many more magnificent, over-the-top wedding receptions in Designlab Event's gallery including ones featuring glowing paper trees!
