If you were a building, what type of building would you be? This is the question that Barcelona-based illustrator and architect Federico Babina used as inspiration to create this captivating work, entitled Archist. The series of creative architectural structures explores what many famous artists might look like in the form of a modern architectural design.

Babina draws upon each artist's iconic style and translates that into incredibly unique sketches where signature color palettes and shapes blend together into decorative façades that mimic many famous artist's styles. The wide array of famous talent includes Warhol, Picasso, Miro, Lichtenstein, Dali, Kapoor, Mondrian, and Duchamp, to name a few.

“Art and architecture are disciplines that speak and lightly touch each other, the definition and function of the architecture are changing constantly with the development of contemporary art,” explains Babina, “I took pleasure imagining architecture steeped of art, designed and constructed through the interpretation of an artist’s language.”
