Hidden Parking Garage Art (4 pieces)

Shepard Fairey's team

While we're all used to seeing contemporary art hang on gallery or museum walls or even on the street, we usually don't come face-to-face with it in unexpected places like this! The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas wanted to change that. Their "Wallworks" art project brought together four figures in contemporary art, Shepard Fairey, Shinique Smith, RETNA and Kenny Scharf, and asked them to create a site specific work in the hotel's parking garage!

What a great way to not only celebrate the arts but surprise people, making them feel as though they're discovering something hidden, unique and special.

Way to go, Cosmopolitan! As you know, we love your lobby, too.

Saw these in person and I gotta say they're pretty impressive. This definitely sets this hotel apart from all the others, the attention to detail even in the parking garage. Way to go Cosmo!

Damn you, Cosmopolitan, for being so cool. I truly appreciate their firm commitment to an artistic presentation all the way down to the parking garage experience. Plus, they have great tastes in street artists.
