If you thought that pandas were just cute and cuddly bears, then you haven't seen them in the art of Xiaobaosg! The Singapore artist created the
Panda Revolution series inspired by vintage propaganda posters (Chinese, Soviet Union and American). In an interesting turn of events, the series was so popular on the internet that the idea got stolen. Merchandise in China is now being mass produced with Xiaobaosg's illustrations.
"The last
Panda Revolution was created last year exactly this month and recently
Panda Revolution is super hot and famous in China," Xiaobaosg says. "Thanks to some evil designers/merchants from China who stole it and sold it as a new brand line in Bejing which is why you are seeing a smaller pic with a big clear watermark today. Probably this won't help but hey... the show still needs to go on..."
