My Modern Metropolis

If a good painting is judged by its combination of elegance and beauty, Ikenaga Yasunari's art would receive high marks. His lovely paintings draw the viewer in as they try and decipher what his subjects are feeling. The soft patterns and lines are created using Japanese paint applied to linen canvas with a Menso brush. How subtly beautiful.

This coming summer, from July 29th to the 31st, Yasunari will participate in the Art Fair Tokyo, the largest fair of its kind in Japan, featuring high-quality contemporary art. Look for his work then.
