Magnificent Modern-Day Movie Posters (10 total)

Over two years ago, Poland-based artist, illustrator and graphic designer Grzegorz Domaradzki (or Gabz) first published his Vector Movie Poster (VMP) project. As he was both "surprised and overwhelmed with the positive feedback," Gabz recently decided to create another set. "My love for movies and good acting hasn't changed, thus, I decided to create volume 2. The process remained the same as in (the) first VMP made in 2008 - I start with Adobe Illustrator working on portrait photography found in the internet using Bamboo tablet. Once finished I paste it into Photoshop and start designing the posters, adding typography, textures, effects, filters and all sorts of adjustment layers."

Here, we've combined his volume 1 and volume 2 posters together. I can't get enough of them, especially the Mulhuolland Drive one. (Look closely to find the hidden quotes he's added to each.)

These movie posters are incredible! The raw expression of each main character gives each film such a specific feeling! Please find out if you can get in touch with this artist for an interview! Great work.
