What you're looking at isn't some form of photo manipulation that has combined photography and illustration. The half-drawn contours of vases, candle-holders, bottles, and bowls are actually three-dimensional objects created by designer Maya Selway. The artist took away second prize for the series of works at this year's Interieur Design Awards in Belgium. The carefully constructed containers, all part of Selway's Kishu collection, are made of oxidized copper that has been meticulously crafted to maintain its own balance with a sturdy base. Even more impressive is the fact that her candle-holder and vase are actually functional. One shouldn't try filling of the Kishu bottles with liquid though…
