Playful Font Transforms Words into Adorable Cat Poses

We've seen typography inspired by architecture and butterflies, formed with ice, and even carved out of various foods. Now, cat lovers will just adore the Japanese website Nekofont, which provides lettering created entirely from cats.

The two models for the font, male cat Raizo and female cat Mondo, were found on the street when they were just kittens. Over time, their owner realized that some of their elaborate sleeping positions resembled letters. So, the two furry friends were playfully arranged together to create every letter of the alphabet and they appear perfectly happy in their poses as they stretch, bend, and curl in the form of all 26 letters.

The fun website allows visitors to type in any message. It then generates the words in cat formations and provides visitors with a code that can be copied and pasted or a full image of the message that can be downloaded and shared.
