Is that a slide inside a museum? You bet. Artist Carsten Holler just finished his newest installation for the New Museum in New York. As Holler has done before in museums such as the Tate Modern in London, the installation is an expansive three-story tall slide! The plastic slide is 102 ft long, and is meant to serve as "an alternative transportation system" in the museum. It runs from the fourth floor down to the second floor, winding and cutting through the museum's floors. The exhibit will also feature other works by Holler and will run until January 15th. I may need to make a quick trip to New York sometime soon to experience this exhibit for myself.
