Photorealistic Flesh Drawings by Cath Riley (11 pics)

After being completely blown away by the amount of time and detail that goes into creating Paul Lung's amazing pencil art, I went looking for others that could match his artistry. I immediately found Cath Riley, an artist who's drawings of skin is like nothing I've ever seen. The way Cath sketches pinched flesh and wrinkles and her masterful use of shading sets her apart from all the rest. It's no wonder that her clients includes Nike, The Economist, and The New York Times.

Comment by Inka Leoni on March 10, 2010 at 10:51pm: The way the hands grab into the flesh. The hands seem to be older and tell a whole different story to the flesh that its grabbing or squeezing. I can imagine the way the skin feels of both. It's almost like the hands want to shape the flesh into something else. And it's hard to even tell which part of the body is being held onto.

I like those a lot!
