Porsche's Sparkling Museum in Stuttgart

First spotted over at Freshome, the Porsche Museum was conceived as a gravity-defying, dynamically formed structure located in the sports car's home city of Stuttgart, Germany.

The museum, designed by Austrian firm Delugan Meissl Associated Architects, offers dramatic views from every perspective. Visitors enter through the first floor where they gain insight into the “roots of the Porsche experience” at the Classic Workshop archive. A cathedral-esque elevator then takes enthusiasts toward the exhibition space and a far-fetching gallery that unfolds through varying levels. Visitors can steer themselves through the sloping roads and experience over 100 years of automotive design prowess.

"The new Porsche museum represents our conception of architecture which is constantly moving in the field of interaction between buildings and their users," says Roman Delugan, co-founder of Delugan Meissl Associated Architects.
